About Our Lab Grown Diamonds

1. Are Sanlee diamonds lab-grown diamonds?

Yes. All diamonds offered by Sanlee are laboratory-grown diamonds. They share matching chemical, physical and optical characteristics with mined diamonds. Clear origin information will be provided alongside your order documents.

2. Will lab grown diamonds pass standard diamond testers?

Most common thermal diamond testers respond similarly to lab-grown diamonds and mined diamonds, given their identical thermal conductivity. Advanced gem lab equipment is generally required to distinguish between them.

3. Do Sanlee lab grown diamonds come with gem certification?

Eligible stones can be issued independent gem lab certificates such as IGI. Certificate availability relates to diamond carat and grade; contact us to confirm certification options for your chosen diamond.

Ring Maintenance

1. What care suggestions apply to my lab grown diamond ring?

Like all fine diamond jewellery, lab grown diamond rings benefit from regular gentle cleaning. Avoid heavy impacts, harsh chemicals and long exposure to seawater or cosmetics to reduce potential wear over time.

2. How can I safely clean my Sanlee ring at home?

You may use mild warm soapy water and a soft jewellery brush to gently clear dirt accumulated around the setting. Thoroughly rinse and dry the ring with a lint-free cloth afterwards. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch metal surfaces.

3. Can I wear my ring while showering, swimming or exercising?

It is recommended to remove your ring before swimming, showering, gym workouts and manual labour. Chlorine, saltwater and physical friction may tarnish metal or loosen the diamond setting gradually.

4. Does daily wear cause diamonds to become loose over time?

Continuous knocks and pressure during everyday activities may slowly weaken prongs over an extended period. Regular professional inspections help identify loose settings at an early stage.

5. How often should I get my ring professionally inspected?

We suggest arranging professional inspection every 6–12 months. A jeweller can check prong tightness, metal condition and complete professional cleaning if needed.

6. Will the metal band fade or tarnish with regular wear?

14K/18K gold and platinum are resistant to heavy tarnishing, yet skin oils, lotions and chemicals may create surface discolouration. Proper cleaning can help restore the original appearance of the band.

7. Is ultrasonic cleaning safe for my Sanlee ring?

Ultrasonic cleaning may be suitable for many simple ring styles. Rings with intricate engravings or treated stones could face risks. We advise consulting a professional jeweller before using ultrasonic cleaners.
